B.SC OPTOMETRY SCOPE IN INDIA



















             BSc Optometry is a four year undergraduate come professional course, the first 3 years teaching is followed by one year of internship for clinical and trade experience. This course will help you learn and discover the scientific principles that underpin optometry, including the properties of light, the anatomy of the eye and the processing of vision in the brain. Undergoing though this course, the student can explore a wealth of practical clinical experience through a placement.
After the successful graduation of this course professionals are able to register to practice as an optometrist with the General Optical Council.

Salary & Pay Scale
The initial monthly salary of an optometrist ranges between Rs.20, 000 to Rs.40, 000 per monthly. As a fresher Optometrist can earn Rs. 4 to 5 lacks per year. In India, they can earn at least Rs.9 to 10 lacks in a year (with higher in experience and higher in education)
